To make your experience writing for me easier and more enjoyable (since I know how difficult it can be to write for someone you don’t know) I’ve written this letter that outlines my likes and dislikes. It includes a few prompts and pieces of inspiration for you as well but you’re completely free to ignore them and do whatever you want instead. All that matters to me is that you have fun!
(By the way, section length has nothing to do with how much I love each canon! Some canons are just easier for me to come up with prompts and ideas for then others.)
Likes and Dislikes
I'm very easy to please. As long as you give me something that feels like it could be canon in some way, I’ll adore it. But here are some of my more specific likes anyway.
General Likes
Pistol (2022): Steve Jones, Johnny Rotten, Malcolm McLaren
This show is a bit difficult to find. All but the last episode can be watched on the internet archive right here. For the link to the last episode please message the very helpful asgreyasacat on tumblr.
These three are great. They have such strong personalities that play off of each other incredibly well. The scene in the second episode where the band rehearses together for the first time is a wonderful example of that. Their ways of viewing and interacting with the world are so different but stem from the same source since they're all outsiders in 1970s British society and want to forcibly change society because of that. As I said in my promo post for Pistol, their relationships with each other are the highlight of the show for me.
Please don't feel any pressure to include all of them in one fic. I'm interested in their dynamics as both a trio and as separate duos because each combination has its own appeal so just write whoever you want. I'm fine with any type of fic so feel free to write something platonic, something romantic, or something sexual. Anyway, here's some prompts, ideas, and ramblings to help you decide what to write!

I have nothing coherent to say about Copkiller besides oh my god is it kinky. It's unreasonably kinky. How is this allowed? I love it.
I don't have as many prompts, ideas, and ramblings as I do for Pistol but I do have a few. Also, I'd like to see both Fred and Leo in the fic you write and I'd prefer something explicit but I won't complain if you write something gen!
What is there to say about Once Upon A Time In Hollywood that hasn't already been said by a thousand film critics? It's a brilliant portrait of late 1960s LA and the Hollywood that existed during that time period. The changing cultural landscape, as well as the changing film landscape, are explored so well through the eyes of Rick Dalton, one of Tarantino's best developed (and best loved!) characters. It's a beautiful movie and one of my favorites from the 21st century.
Ever since I saw this movie back on its opening night in 2019, I loved Rick's relationship with Trudi. Though they only get a few scenes together, I loved their chemistry and I was left wanting to see them interact more. So here's a few prompts, ideas, and ramblings to help you make my dreams come true if you're so inclined!

Steve and Malcolm
- I love their weird one-sided (but not totally one-sided) proxy father and son relationship. Steve decided that Malcolm was his new dad and Malcolm just went with it. I'd love to see something that expands on Steve's (likely unconscious) view of Malcolm as a father figure who he's desperate not to disappoint.
- Malcolm's true thoughts and feelings are so enigmatic. I badly want to know what's going on in his head when it comes to his relationship with Steve. Though Malcolm uses Steve's loyalty to him as a weapon against the rest of the band (and Steve himself) he clearly has some genuine affection for Steve and enjoys his company...
- Get as dark as you want with how manipulative Malcolm is. Steve is so unwilling to stand up for himself against Malcolm and that often gets him into situations he doesn't want to be in.
- On that note, it'd be fun to see a fic about Steve's sex addiction and trauma causing him to become paranoid that Malcolm will inevitably want to have sex with him. Maybe he tries to initiate something in order to get it over with, maybe he wants their relationship to turn sexual, maybe he's not paranoid and Malcolm actually is planning to fuck him eventually. So many options!
- Steve trying to make up for some mistake the only way his traumatized brain knows how: offering sex.
- I can't get enough of Malcolm calling Steve 'my boy'. He even calls him 'good boy' a couple of times.
- They're so touchy with each other, it's adorable. I especially like how Steve is constantly picking Malcolm up.
- Something where Malcolm tries to get Steve to open up about his past would be very enjoyable. Maybe Malcolm shares bits of his own life story to encourage Steve to do the same. Obviously, Malcolm would have some sort of ulterior motive for doing this.
- Ugly, messy consent issues of this pair is very fun but I also like the idea of them having loving sex.
- Malcolm telling Steve to stand facing the wall in the second episode was funny but it also set off kink alarms in my brain.
- I love how they're opposites in many ways (verbal vs physical, rebellious vs compliant, well read vs can't read, etc) but also rather similar (constantly have their guard up, grew up poor, emotional but try to suppress it, etc). They don't seem to realize that they have anything in common so I'd like to see them come to that realization.
- They hated each other from the moment they met but I think there's potential for some type of friendship or at least a truce. Perhaps an alliance against a common enemy would help them realize that they're capable of liking each other's company.
- As much as I enjoy their moments of friendliness, I also love it when they argue. I'd love to see a full blown physical fight between them. Maybe the fight leads to sex, maybe it doesn't. Either way it would be fun.
- It would also be a lot of fun to see them get together while they're too drunk or high to stop themselves.
- There's a blink and you'll miss it moment in the second episode where Johnny watches Steve go upstairs with Chrissie. Nothing ever comes of it so what was up with that? Is Johnny jealous? Is he being judgemental?
- A relative moment of peace between them would be wonderful to see. Maybe they start trying to get to know each other.
- Something where Steve defends Johnny from someone trying to attack him.
- An AU where Johnny and Steve meet at Sex/Seditionaries before Johnny joins the band.
- Considering how Johnny talks about sex, he's likely a virgin. Steve is very much not a virgin. That divergence could be fun to explore.
- Steve fantasizing about Johnny while jacking off or while having sex with someone else.
- What would the aftermath of their first time look like? Would they regret it or would they want to go again?
- I love the one-sided rivalry and hatred all coming from Johnny's end that turns into a full-blown chess game of manipulation between him and Malcolm for control of a band that they both consider to be 'theirs'. It's great fun to watch, especially since they're intellectual equals and have their own ways of trying to get control. Anything expanding on this would be something I'd love to see.
- Malcolm's true thoughts and feelings are so enigmatic. I badly want to know what's going on in his head when it comes to his relationship with Johnny.
- How does Malcolm feel about Johnny being physically attacked by people who hate what punk stands for?
- Johnny hates Malcolm so much and can barely stand to be around him but I think it'd be great to see a moment of peace between them, whatever that might look like.
- On that note, a fic where Johnny and Malcolm actually get to know each other would be wonderful. After all, they've got a decent amount in common.
- Just like with Steve and Malcolm, I'd love to see an explicit fic with messy consent issues. Coercion, blackmail, all that good stuff.
- Malcolm learning the hard way that Johnny is far harder to manipulate then Steve is.
- Johnny is in desperate need of a spanking. I think Malcolm is the perfect person to give him one.
- To bend the rules a bit and request a non-nomminated character, I think it'd be funny to see Malcolm trying to play matchmaker between Johnny and Jordan as apparently that was something he once tried to do in real life.
- Please feel free to take any prompts, ideas, and ramblings from above and apply them to a fic that features all three of these boys together!
- Johnny trying to turn Steve against Malcolm and Malcolm trying to turn Steve even more against Johnny then he already is.
- Drug and alcohol use are to be expected with this canon. Same with swearing, violence, and 1970s-typical opinions. I'm cool with all of it.
- Sex/Seditionaries sells fetish gear and sex toys. Also those bondage trousers/suits are pretty kinky. Do with that what you will.
- Feel free to include other, non-requested characters in your fic!
- My tumblr has an entire tag dedicated to the Sex Pistols filled with pictures and anecdotes about them.
- I've read so much about the actual history of this band, its members, and the people around them that I'm basically an expert. That being said, feel free to stick purely to the show's version of events. But if you'd like to include things from real life that were left out then I'd be thrilled.

- This is basically an S&M movie so go ahead and take Fred and Leo's relationship to the next logical extreme by letting them fuck. How kinky you want to get with it is up to you, just be sure to read my likes and dislikes lists.
- The strange domesticity between Fred and Leo once their dynamic begins to shift in the latter half of the movie is a lot of fun so feel free to do something with that as well.
- Copkiller is the perfect movie for missing scene fics. Show me the torture sessions that the audience didn't get to see!
- How far does Leo's enjoyment of pain and punishment go? Is there a limit? Would he ever ask Fred to stop?
- If you want to write dubcon smut between these two, I think it would be interesting if Leo is the one pressuring Fred to fuck him.
- How do they feel about each other? Does Fred feel guilty for how he treats Leo in the beginning of the movie? Does Leo actually like Fred or is he just using him?

- Trudi learning about what happened with the Manson Family at Rick's house and wanting to see if her friend is alright.
- 1970s Hollywood is so weird so if you've got any knowledge about it please show it off in your fic.
- Any reunion fic where they meet again after a long time of not seeing each other.
- Please keep Rick and Trudi's relationship as just friends! I don't want even a hint of romance.
- Feel free to include Cliff if you want! I like Cliff.
- I haven't read the novelization so please don't include anything from it. Keep your fic to the canon of the movie only. You can include what you like from what Tarantino said on his podcast about the rest of Rick's career post-OUATIH though!
